The catalog of information given above contains the most accurate and current information about M.B.T.S. available at the time of application. However, the Administration of the seminary reserves the right to make changes in rules, policies, procedures, fees and curriculum content as circumstances may require. Thus, this catalog of information may not be construed as a binding contract or an offer to contract between the student and the seminary.
ADMISSION POLICY
Attendance at M.B.T.S. is a privilege and not a right; a privilege that may be forfeited any time the Administration deems the student not to be in harmony with the seminary. Applicants must be saved and of good character, with a desire to know the Lord better and to enlarge their capacity to serve Him. They must have either an earned high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma or certificate. Incoming freshmen seeking a degree must provide ACT scores to the Office of Admissions before final acceptance. Non-discrimination: All qualified applicants will be accepted without regard to race, color, nationality or ethnic origin. As stated in our Mission and Philosophy statement MBTS is a seminary specifically for men teaching men for the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, application to pursue a seminary degree from MBTS is for God-called men for full-time Gospel ministry.
Transfer Credits: Credits earned at other institutions will be accepted with the following provisions: 1. Only credits with grades of “C” or better will be accepted. 2. Courses accepted must be of basically comparable content and quality as those offered by M.B.T.S. 3. Some courses not of comparable content and/or quality may be accepted as elective credits (after review by the Administration) 4. The Administration reserves the right to make the final determination as to the acceptability of any transfer credits. 5. A minimum of 32 credits must be completed at M.B.T.S. before graduation in any program.
