Dr. Mike Allison- Senior Pastor

Dr. Michael Allison was born in Sturgis, MI and married his wife Janet shortly after high school. They have two daughters, Kathy and Kari. He was saved in October of 1971 while working his afternoon shift at Radio Station WAOP in Otsego, Michigan. He was called to preach in 1974 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tennessee Temple College in 1976. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Religious Education and a Doctor of Ministry from Bethany Theological Seminary and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Fairhaven Baptist College. He has been pastor of Madison Baptist Church since 1989.

Wally Bryant- Associate Pastor

Born in Decatur, AL, Bro. Wally has been married to his wife Glenda for 35 years; they have two daughters Erica and Maddie. He was saved on November 18th, 1990 in a small Baptist church in Greenbrier, AL under the leadership of Pastor Bill Boruff. He was called into the ministry while on a missions trip to Mexico and graduated from Southeastern Fundamental Baptist College in 2004 with a B.S. degree in Bible. He served as youth pastor of Madison Baptist Church from 2005-2016. He now serves as Associate Pastor and High School Administrator of Madison Baptist Academy.

Brian Brown - Associate Pastor

Brother Brown was saved at age 14 at a youth camp in Texas. After graduating with a B.A. in Business he attended Hyles-Anderson College where he earned a B.S. in Pastoral Assistant and a Master’s degree in Christian School Administration. God called him to preach in his second year at Bible college. He joined the staff at Madison Baptist Church in January of 2003. He currently works in the bus ministry, children’s church, Limestone Prison, and Juvenile ministries. Brian and his wife Pam have six children. 

Jeff Smith - Visitation Pastor

Originally from Texas City, Texas, Bro. Smith received Christ as his personal Savior in February of 2002 months after watching the tragedy of 9/11. A co-worker began sharing the gospel with him and while driving to work one morning listening to a sermon on the radio, he was fully convinced that Jesus Christ was the only One who could save his soul from hell. There at a red light he put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The Lord began to work in his life, later calling him to preach. He graduated from Faith Bible Institute and later received his Pastoral degree from Madison Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined the staff of Madison Baptist Church as the Visitation Pastor in 2013 and has since seen many come to Christ. He has been married to Kari since 2006 and they have three beautiful children. They look forward to being used of God for the rest of their lives.

Jon Ross - Youth Pastor

Bro. Ross was born and raised in Jasonville, IN. On August 17, 1997 he trusted Christ as his savior. He attended Commonwealth Baptist College in Lexington, KY and was called to preach during his sophomore year on November 16, 2011, during the King James Bible Conference at Clays Mill Road Baptist Church. He graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Assistant and became youth pastor at Madison Baptist Church in March 2016. He is married to Amber and has one son.

Gerardo Rodriguez - Spanish Pastor

Bro. Rodriguez was saved in 2007 through the ministry of Madison Baptist Church. He graduated from the Seminario Biblico de Madison in 2013 and served as an assistant to the Spanish ministry pastor for three years before assuming that position in October 2016. He and his wife Elvia are proud parents to eight children.

Martin Hatzell - Music Director

Bro. Hatzell was saved on September 9, 1992 as a senior at Pensacola Christian College during opening revival services. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1993 and a Master of Science in Educational Administration in 1995. He is originally from Fairfield, CA. He and his wife Annelle have one son, Noah. Bro. Hatzell is the Music Director and Choir Director at Madison Baptist Church and the Elementary Principal and 5th & 6th grade teacher at Madison Baptist Academy.
